Inspired by the classic fishtail parka, a design first popularised by war surplus stock in the 1950s and later adopted by Mods, who made it a style staple. Made from a Putty nylon fabric sourced from Olmetex in Italy, it's water and wind resistant yet breathable, with every seam heat-sealed by hand for genuine weatherproofing.

Details include a waxed cotton drawstring finished with a Hangman's knot, two large angled waist pockets, an oversized fixed hood with a peak, and the signature fishtail hem. The fit is generous and built for layering, and the whole coat packs down into its own internal pouch for travel. Made in England

Measurements:
- Pit to pit (2.5cm down from armhole): 66cm
- Sleeve length from centre back neck: 88cm
- Body length from centre back neck to hem: 102.5cm

Where Every Idea Begins

Every piece at The Workers Club starts life like this, months of work before a single stitch is cut. We believe in everything we design and build. But every so often, an idea that felt right on screen doesn't quite land once it exists in the world. Rather than shelve it, we bring it here, to the archive, so it can still find its place.

Sometimes, It's Just the Fit

We're particular about fit, perhaps too particular. A sleeve half a centimetre too long, or a pocket set slightly too high, and the piece goes no further. It felt wasteful to let it go entirely. On you, it might be exactly right.
