The Workers Atelier – Made To Order Knitwear

We start with yarn and purpose. In partnership with a renowned maker in Wales, we create custom pieces in 100% cashmere, Italian merino, or authentic Welsh lambswool - built for substance, softness, and long wear.

You choose the style, stitch, and gauge; we refine the fit, length, sleeve, collar, and trims to your preferences. Handle the yarns, compare swatches, set the colour and silhouette - the result is knitwear with real presence that feels right from the first wear.

Signature styles, made for you

• Pembrook Shawl Cardi: 2.5–3 gauge, 6-ply, double-knit shawl collar, two patch pockets, horn buttons. Weighty, warm, and available in wool or cashmere. From £895

• The Bear Cardi: Hand-framed on a traditional flatbed for a truly personal finish. Archive-inspired colour-block landscape with our Red Kite in flight; 100% Welsh wool in chunky 3-gauge. Shawl collar, rib cuffs, and a two-way RiRi zip; substantial enough to wear as outerwear. From £1250
