Adversity is the mother of invention, so they say. It’s been a strange 2020 for all of us in different ways, and if you’d said to us in April or May, “by the way, you’re going to open your first bricks-and-mortar store this year,” we’d have scoffed.
Nevertheless, we are thrilled to let you know that during lockdown we took the bold decision to open TWC’s first physical store in Goring-on-Thames; a picturesque Oxfordshire village close to our home. It’s a hugely exciting moment for us, and one we hope will stand us in good stead for the rest of this year and into 2021.
For the past few weeks, we’ve been using lockdown-enforced downtime to renovate and facelift the shop, which sits on Goring high street in a 18th century flint cottage. The store will host our entire collection – outerwear, denim, shirts, accessories – across two quaint floors. Expect whitewashed oaken beams, mullioned windows and a comfy space to come and chat over coffee, try clothes on to your heart’s content, or just peruse some of the lifestyle curiosities we’re curating.
On that note, alongside our own designs we’re offering capsule ranges from a few select friends of the brand who we’ve known or worked with over the years; from London Undercover umbrellas to our Norfolk Natural Living Sea Salt Denim Wash and Cutler & Gross eyewear – a brand which Adam first worked with in designing the wardrobe for the Kingsman movies.
At TWC we believe in trusting your instincts and bucking the trend. It’s a tough time for retail across dozens of different sectors, but we have wanted to give you, our customers, the opportunity to come and see us and enjoy our clothes in the flesh for years. This feels like the right time for our brand, and we can’t wait to settle into the village.
We hope you’ll take a drive and come to visit us soon, enjoy a walk along the river and a hearty pub lunch. Goring’s the perfect destination for a day-trip, and the ideal place to refresh after a tough week in the big smoke. Heck, we might even have a cold beer ready in the shop for you, if you ask us nicely.
Thank you very much indeed for your continued support over the years, which allowed us to reach this moment. We’re very excited to share the new shop with you. See you soon,
Adam & Charlotte

I would like a pair of the slimmer fit jeans (w38") if you have a pair in stock/ store. I see you are closed today (Monday) but hope I can call in tomorrow (Tuesday) before you close. Thanks Andrew Bond 07917 623444. Lovely clothes btw!
