TWC Worn Your Way 'Part Six'

TWC Worn Your Way 'Part Six'

In our final instalment for our AW18 collection 'Worn Your Way' we invite George Glasgow Jnr to select an item from our AW18 collection.

We were lucky enough to work with JKF MAN once more when he visited George in the West End. What could be better than hanging out around Mayfair chatting with and photographing this gent!

Some men just exude class and style; George Glasgow Jnr, CEO and Creative Director of George Cleverley Shoes is one such man.  A born-and-bred Londoner, George splits his time between Cleverley’s Mayfair shop and Los Angeles. It felt only right we captured him outside his Royal Arcade boutique wearing our Navy Shell Jacket and carrying the TWC Briefcase Bag. It’s an often overused term, but Cleverley’s handmade shoes really are the epitome of luxury. What better to pair them with then, than a pair of our Yellow & Grey mix socks? A match made in bespoke-shoe-heaven we think…

When it comes to menswear, how important is it to you?

It is very important.  Life is about stories and the origins of how things came about.  For me, I love to know how a style first got its design and its history.  Craftsmanship is is unique and a work of art so should be appreciated.

What drew you to select the Navy Shell from TWC’s AW18 collection?

It was an item that my wardrobe was lacking.  Something which was casual yet stylish.  Given that I’m spending more time now in London it was perfect for what I needed this winter!

What’s on your Christmas list this year?

I have some cashmere items.  I also want a new laptop case which I’m having my workshop make me now which is going to look stunning.  Olive green alligator on one side and calf on the other.  Will be totally unique!

What’s your ultimate favourite item of clothing that you own?

I would say 1786 Russian Hide bespoke Cleverley’s are the most unique!  I also love my cashmere jacket with the lining of my wife inside from Len Logsdail in New York.  Both beautiful pieces and totally unique!

A huge thank you to George and Jamie!

From all at TWC

TWC Worn You Way 'Part Five'

TWC Worn You Way 'Part Five'

Next in our series of 'Worn Your Way' We call upon our new favourite model Jonathan James Turner to select an item of his choice from our AW18 Collection.

Eagled-eyed TWC devotees might just recognise Jonathan from our AW18 campaign. As a tailor, stylist and model, Jonathan knows menswear and has an old-school, timeless look that sits perfectly with our brand vision. A native Londoner with a glint in his eye that has something of the Cary Grant about it, he has that enviable ability to truely ‘own’ his style and bring clothes to life.

Jonathan wears our 'Made in Italy' Merino Wool Naval Sweater in Navy.

In the words of Oscar Wilde, can you ever be overdressed?

I’m going to have to disagree with Mr. Wilde. I certainly do believe you can be overdressed. I’m more a dress for the occasion kind of guy!

What drew you to select the Naval Sweater from TWC’s AW18 collection?

I really liked the blue of it and the chunky collar and thick waistband.

What’s on your Christmas list this year?

Honestly, I don’t have anything on my list this year but I suppose a nice pair of high waisted selvedge denim jeans would be a lovely gift ;)

What’s your ultimate favourite item of clothing that you own?

My favourite item of clothing would have to be my vintage GH Bass Weejuns that were handed down to me by my dad. He bought them 23 years ago when GH Bass was still being produced in the states and they still look great. The leather on them is still fantastic all these years later, they have kept their shape and they still have that cool Ivy look to them.

Thank you so much James,

See you soon for our AW19 campaign!

Autumn Winter 18 Collection

Autumn Winter 18 Collection
'HOME GROWN'
Introducing The Workers Club AW18, the next chapter in the story of a brand who believe in longevity beyond transient trends. In pursuit of creating the ultimate men’s wardrobe, every box is ticked; performance, practicality and precision.
As with every season, this considered collection of staples expands on existing brand signatures, including the Shell Jacket and Packable Parka in Abstract Camo, imagined for AW18 in a new colourway.
More pertinent than ever in the current climate, AW18 marks a stronger relationship with skilled British manufacturers, and uses home-grown fabrics and trims. The Abstract Camo Packable Parka is woven in Scotland before being printed in England.

Since their launch in 2015, TWC has been inspired by the men who wear their clothes. Three years on and as the relationship between muse and brand has strengthened, this collection feels decidedly more confident and evolved.

Traditional menswear classics are given the signature TWC treatment; think corduroy trousers tapered at the ankle and rib-knit beanies in bright, vivid colours. Both of which are manufactured here in the UK.

'Made in England Socks'

As ever, the best-loved classics remain, including the famous knit socks. This season sees the new addition of a super soft Merino Wool sock, Made in England.
